Desert Hands was created in collaboration with Lilah Sniderman in October 2024 at the DIY music and art festival, Yipps; located in Joshua Tree. We staged a participatory art project, inviting friends at the festival to leave an impression of their hands on our canvas. Nearly everyone participated with excitement, placing their hands on cyanotype coated fabric. The process of creating this piece was one of bonding and connection; this final work, Desert Hands encapsulates these feelings.
