Prostration to Find Some Sort of Creation
This performance explores the ancient Jewish practice of touching your head to the ground in prayer, connecting to something holy within in the earth that then becomes part of your reality. By touching her head to paint and then transferring it to paper, Katya used this technique to try and connect to the divine current of creativity within all of us.
